SC refuses to stay Central Vista Project in New Delhi

The Supreme Court of India has refused to stay Central Vista Project. The project comprises of New Parliament building and central government offices in Lutyen’s zone in New Delhi.
Chief Justice of India SA Bobde said, “A similar petition pending and there is no need to duplicate it.” The petitioner has claimed the project will deprive the public of enjoying open spaces.
